1Delete your account in the app

You can delete your account yourself from the Settings page of the TunedBooks mobile app:

1. Open the TunedBooks app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Tap More.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, to the Danger Zone section.
5. Tap Delete Account.
6. Read the warning, then confirm. You'll be signed out and taken back to the login screen.

For your security, if you haven't signed in recently the app may ask you to log out and sign back in before it lets you delete your account.

2Can't sign in? Ask us by email

If you can't get into the app, email us from the email address on your TunedBooks account:

We send it from that address so we can check the request comes from the account holder. If you write from a different address, we may ask you to prove the account is yours before we delete anything.

We will respond within 30 days.

3What we delete

When your account is deleted, we delete:

• Your TunedBooks account and profile
• Your login credentials
• Your business details
• Your customer contacts
• Logos and images you uploaded
• Push notification tokens for your devices
• Login credentials for connected marketplaces: eBay, Vinted, Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce and Chowdeck

4What we keep, and why

We keep your transaction and invoice records after your account is deleted, because UK and Nigerian tax law requires business records to be kept for a set period.

These records are anonymised, so they are no longer linked to you, your account or your login. We keep them for 7 years, then delete them.

5How long it takes

• Straight away: you're signed out and can no longer use the account.
• Within 30 days: the data listed in section 3 is permanently deleted from our live systems.
• Within 90 days: any copies left in our backups are purged.
• After 7 years: the anonymised transaction and invoice records in section 4 are deleted.

If you asked us by email, the 30 days start from when we confirm the request.
